** Orders to Arizona, Georgia and Michigan require exact date of birth for both purchaser and recipient. You may fill this information out in your online account and when you place an order.
*** Orders to Hawaii, Kansas and Wisconsin require exact date of birth for the recipient. You will be prompted to fill this information out when you place your order.
We Cannot Ship Wine to the Following States
Due to current state regulations, we regretfully cannot ship wine to the following states:

Adult Signature Requirement: We strongly suggest shipping your order to a business address. State law, as well as FedEx policy, requires an adult signature (at least 21 years of age) at the time of delivery for every package containing wine. It is the shipper’s responsibility to ensure an adult is available to sign for the shipment at delivery. Shipments will not be delivered under the following circumstances:
- The recipient is not 21 years of age or older or does not have an acceptable form of ID such as a driver's license, passport or birth certificate.
- The recipient shows signs of intoxication.
Important Shipping Updates
- Orders to NJ Due to current state regulations, we regretfully still cannot ship to the state of NJ.
Heat & Weather Conditions: Because of our sensitivity to the temperature variances that can occur during the summer months, we generally ship Monday through Wednesday during periods of high heat (above 85°F) to ensure same week delivery. We also have the ability to include gel packs to protect packages from heat spikes. We may, at times, contact customers to consult on overnight shipping or a holding the shipment back to ensure the integrity of their wines. You will receive an email confirmation and tracking number when your order has shipped. Please call Customer Service at (866) 367-9945 for specific shipping questions.

Additional Shipping Information
Delivery Schedule: Wine is shipped via FedEx, and normally arrives within five business days of placing your order. We make every effort to ensure your order arrives within three days after leaving our warehouse.
Large Format Bottles: Orders of large format bottles may need to be special ordered prior to shipping. If ordering a large format bottle that needs to arrive by a specific date, please call Customer Service at (866) 367-9945 to confirm availability.
Will Call: Orders can be placed via the website or phone and then picked up at the winery. Once your order has been processed, you will be contacted by the winery to confirm your order is ready to pick up. Will Call orders must be picked up within 30 days of notification. After 30 days, your order will be shipped to you from the winery and shipping costs will be applied to your order. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact us at (866) 367-9945.
PO Boxes or APO/FPO: Unfortunately, USPS regulations restrict us from shipping alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Returns Policy: Duckhorn Wine Company stands behind every wine we make, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receipt of your order and we will arrange for replacement (pending availability) or refund.
